The verdict
If you want morning surf, slow cafés, design-led shops, and a neighbourhood that still has rice paddies, go Canggu. It's where Villa Leaf lives, and it's where most of our long-stay guests end up extending their bookings.
If you want polished beach clubs, late dinners, boutique shopping, and the kind of trip where you dress up at 19:00, go Seminyak. Or better yet, stay in Canggu and visit Seminyak twice a week. It's twenty minutes away, and our driver Putu will pick you up at 23:00 without judgement.
